Brian and Tirsa - A Spectacular Wedding at Ringling

On September 6, Rambunktious helped create a one of a kind, spectacular wedding! Brian, an actor, and Tirsa, a film editor from L.A., wanted to have a wedding that suited their fun personalities. Knowing the two, guests weren’t surprised to turn the corner to find living statues or a pirate looking over their shoulder.
The Cà d’Zan Mansion at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota, Florida was adorned with every vibrant color imaginable. Tirsa made all of her own fantasy flowers, from fabric – theatre style. The ceremony was actually a short play, complete with dancing down the aisle, mad libs, and even a sword fight between the groom and a pirate, trying to win over the bride. Cocktail hour was on the front lawn where various Cirque acts interacted with the guests. The reception did not lack pizazz either. The bride and groom had created their own movie, projected on – not one, but two screens, to lead into their first dance as husband and wife. The artistic program reached its peak with a knife thrower, accompanied by a tattooed, burlesque-ish assistant, Taiko drummers, and living statues performing their amazing Kiss Show! Cutting the cake is so last year. Tirsa and Brian like to do things differently – with a giant cupcake! All of the other cupcakes were arranged on a giant, gold theatrical crown.
Congratulations Brian and Tirsa! We would also like to thank everyone that helped make this wedding such a success – US Tent Rental, Grand Events, Nellie’s Deli, Holly at Ringling, Treviso, Sights and Sounds, A-List DJ Entertainment, Nina Sutherland Photography, Unity and Merry Makers.

Jenn Moriale and David Kalina's Wedding at Hilton on Longboat Key, Florida

It was another perfect beach wedding, on another perfect day in Sarasota, FL on April 25, 2009. Jenn and David were married at the Hilton on Longboat Key under a mesmerizing sunset. We enjoyed working on this yummy beach decor of aqua blue and pristine white accented with choral, starfish, fresh moss and other fun accents. It was a pleasure working with Lauren from the Hilton, Eevent, Beth Tyson photography and as usual US Tent Rental.

Rambunktious Productions Helps with the Auction of Relics from the Ringling Towers

Complete in 1926, The John Ringling Towers were designed by Dwight James Baum and built by Owen Burns. The building was originally called the El Vernona Hotel. John Ringling acquired the hotel in 1930 and eventually renamed it. In the early 1980’s the building was closed and sat vacant. On March 28, 2009, Sarasota Architectural Salvage presented relics from the building to the public at an event that brought attention to the importance of historic preservation and will benefit future heritage conservation in Sarasota County. Rambunktious Productions was called in by owner, Jesse White to help with decorating the display room's ceiling and bring in accents that will tie the content of the exhibit to it's 1920 roots.

Brad and Becca...Married at last

Brad and Becca have been Rambunktious throughout the entire proposal, engagement and wedding process...

We were there assisting Brad with the underwater proposal in West Palm Beach. A big thanks to Rambunktious Marc for the scuba training! The ring was placed in a shell (don't worry, we tied it in) and then Brad tried to get Rebecca to open the shell he placed on the bottom of the ocean. It was great, she shook her head no like there was NO way she was touching that thing. Only after seeing a sparkle and him wrting will you marry me on his underwater slate did she say yes.

We were there at Bayfront Park for their engagement photo shoot and we truly enjoyed being there for their beautiful wedding on Clearwater Beach this past weekend.
On my drive back to Sarasota, I stopped by the Skyway Bridge and took a picture of the amazing sunset that completed a perfect day.
Congrats Becca and Brad!
Not just clients but these great friends are bound to stick with us for years to come. Maybe a baby shower in the future :-) No pressure guys take your time...

Rambunktiously yours,
Molly

Elegant Sarasota Weddings Bridal Show

Wow, what a day...over 200 brides at the Chelsea Center, all looking for guidance and expertise in the wedding world. It started off early this morning when Keren set up our beautiful space. She custom made our RP logo out of fresh flowers and left the brides breathless with a bouquet of peonies, anemones and kangaroo paw accented with black crystals and ostrich feathers. AMAZING, thank you Keren!
A big thank you to US Tent Rental for supplying us with rentals, Jason Champion for the FAB chairs that adorned our space and Jaymie and Brian from Fete who kept us fed and hydrated.
We were ready for action with hundreds of BE RAMBUNKTIOUS bags stuffed with RP info. Brides loved our over-sized bags as they packed them with vendor information throughout the show.
We donated a $500 gift certificate in the event raffle and the lucky winners were Kate and Dave. Congrats!
We are also doing a drawing of our own Monday from the list of brides that signed up with us at the show. We and will be emailing the winner Monday evening. Good luck everyone.
Have a great night, it is now time to rest before the week begins.
Ciao for now,
Molly

Flowers of Joy...Giving Back

We recently informed the media about Rambunktious Productions' latest project "Flowers of Joy." This initiative invites volunteers and organizations to collaborate with RP; collect and deliver floral arrangements from events into the hands of hospital and hospice patients. After this past weekend's events we were left with some unclaimed Mums and were able to launch the project for the first time.

Since this was the first delivery, we wanted to do the handing-out ourselves. While Molly was busy with setting up for another function, I brought along Adley, my young assistant and together we made our way to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Skipping through the hallways with flowers in hand, we were able to bring some much needed smiles to people's faces. Not only was this experience utterly rewarding (Adley even managed to score some chocolates and teddy bears), it made us truly count our blessings and remember that each precious moment counts.

When we realized that four hands were not enough to give away all those flowers, we left the half full cart in the capable hands of the hospital's gracious volunteers, requesting that they give out the flowers to families and friends of those who were on their way to visit their loved ones. As Adley and I walked out through the sliding glass doors and into the Florida sunset, my heart was filled with warmth. It was a good day.

If you would like to be added to our list and join us in the next "Flowers of Joy" delivery, please contact us at: info@RambunktiousProductions.com.

Nikita and Kip's Wedding

After meeting Kip and Nikita, animators who reside in Cali, only once before the wedding it was beautiful to see their dreams come true at their Valentines Day wedding.

The setting was College Hall on the bay, the colors, vibrant shades of pinks and love was in the air.
The weather could not have been better and started off the 3:30 ceremony with warm beams of sunlight on the guests that flew in from as far as Hong Kong for the big day.

A big thank you to all the people we worked with us including Alex at the Mansion, Jaymie and her amazing staff from Fete, Stacy from Say I Do, Lyndsy from Pastries by Design, Cheryl, Meghan and CY for the harp and violin pieces, John Payton Photography, US Tent Rentals, Sarasota Trolley and Robert from Jay Goodley entertainment that kept everyone dancing throughout the evening.

To our stunning couple Nikita and Kip.... we could not have done this without you! Thank you and your family for trusting us. Your wedding was perfection. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Molly
